Borgata Vazon – Oulx

Borgata Vazon,  a little village in the borough of Oulx in the upper Susa Valley, stands at a height of  1.650 metres on the slopes of  Mt.Cotolivier, surrounded by extensive pastures and stupendous views.

Until the middle of last century, Borgata Vazone was still inhabitated by famers who raised animals and grew crops on the mountain, and the village still has a score of rural XVIIIth  century buildings which maintain their original appearance. Its church was dedicated to the Madonna of the Snows in 1710, and its fountain was built in 1857.
